A List

Just a few things I've enjoyed and Which have enriched my life these last couple of weeks.. Please do share yours with me

Moonrise Kingdom. A movie by director Wes Anderson. A film for misfits everywhere.

Cuckoo song from Music For Friday Afternoons by Benjamin Britten. Introduced to me by the film Moonrise Kingdom

Jennifer Egan's story Black Box in The New Yorker a few weeks back

Ernest Hemingway - On Paris. A collection of newspaper pieces from the 1920's

Lana Del Rey's set at Hackney Festival. Watched on video unfortunately as would have loved to have seen this very moving show.

The community spirit in my town of Hebden Bridge since we suffered terrible floods last weekend.

A very shiny copy of Alice Coltrane's Journey in Satchidananda on vinyl

My gratitude to each and all of you stopping by here, reading the books and talking about the work, and thank you dear people who have sent me letters in the last few weeks since the radio appearance.. My best to you all.
